Blasting is a critical step in ensuring the highest quality of steel components before further processes like painting, welding, or assembly. At Proplate, we use steel shot blasting—also known as centrifugal blasting—a superior method for thoroughly cleaning heavy plate and large steel components.
By propelling small steel shots against the surface of steel components, we effectively remove dirt, rust, and corrosion. This creates an ideal surface for subsequent treatments and ensures our components meet the highest quality standards.
High-Capacity Shot Blasting for Large Steel Components
At our state-of-the-art production facility, we operate two through-feed steel shot blasting machines that can handle components up to 20 meters long and 1.5 meters wide. This impressive capacity allows us to process large volumes of heavy steel components rapidly and efficiently. Our advanced equipment ensures a smooth and continuous production flow, enabling us to deliver shorter lead times and exceptional efficiency—helping our customers meet their demanding schedules.
