We offer foundation solutions tailored to all ground conditions — whether gravity foundations for soil anchoring, bedrock anchoring, or terrain with a thin layer of gravel and soil over bedrock.
Our wind turbine foundations are manufactured at our state-of-the-art facility in Oxelösund, Sweden. Designed for large-scale production of heavy-duty steel components, our plant enables efficient, high-quality manufacturing. We collaborate with leading bolt manufacturers and offer complete surface treatment for bolt cages and rock anchors, ensuring reliable corrosion protection.

Flexible Foundation Components
Gravity foundations consist of a steel bolt cage positioned below ground level and embedded in reinforced concrete. The wind turbine is mounted directly atop this bolt cage. Foundation size varies depending on ground conditions and, importantly, the height of the wind turbine—taller towers require larger, more stable foundations.
Bedrock Anchoring
Wind farms built on bedrock are anchored deep into the rock using custom-designed steel anchor rings. Each turbine tower is securely fastened by these rings, featuring double rows of precision-drilled holes that hold 12-meter-long rock anchors drilled directly into the bedrock. This foundation system provides exceptional strength, ensuring safety and stability even in the most demanding wind conditions.

Reliable and Flexible Delivery of Anchoring Solution
The wind power industry is evolving rapidly, with many wind farms now being developed in increasingly remote and hard-to-access locations. To meet the challenges faced by today’s wind power operators, Proplate offers solutions designed to deliver quality and added value throughout the supply chain. We provide customers with the flexibility to order foundation solutions pre-assembled in sections, as complete “flat packs” including all components, or as separate deliveries of anchor rings in any size. Additionally, we manage transportation logistics directly to the wind farm site.
