Our industrial steel components are used in equipment across a wide range of industries — from high-strength pendants up to 17 meters long that ensure crane safety, to wear parts for mining and construction machinery.
Our cutting and full-component manufacturing is world-leading. With complete production lines housed at our facilities in Oxelösund, Sweden, and Alabama, USA, we offer end-to-end manufacturing — from cutting and machining to welding and painting — delivering components that are ready for immediate use. We also provide component assembly to minimize installation time on site.

We operate one of the world’s largest and most advanced facilities for cutting and processing heavy plate, specializing in all steel grades with a focus on high-performance specialty steels. Our factory is optimized for efficient and flexible production at every stage, enabling us to deliver industrial components directly into our customers’ production lines. Our facility features seven large cutting machines with tables up to 42 meters long. Each machine is equipped with multiple burners for both plasma and oxy-fuel cutting, allowing us to cut up to eight components simultaneously — in steel thicknesses ranging from 10 mm to 300 mm.
We also offer extensive in-house capacity for CNC machining, robotic welding, and painting — all under one roof. Our fully integrated production chain and high capacity enable us to meet demanding requirements for size, volume, and precision, while also delivering shorter lead times than our competitors.
We supply industrial steel components to leading machinery and equipment manufacturers worldwide — from high-strength pendants for cranes, to wear parts for mining equipment, and foundations for wind turbines.

As an independent partner, Proplate collaborates with top-tier steel producers like SSAB and Dillinger. This gives our customers the flexibility to integrate their existing supply chains with us — ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow.
Thanks to our geographical proximity to SSAB’s steel mill and our close, long-term partnership with the manufacturer, we offer our customers easy access to world-leading specialty steel. Our direct gate into SSAB allows us to significantly reduce delivery times. This proximity also supports greater sustainability — minimizing transport distances and enabling on-site scrap handling in both Oxelösund and Alabama.
