Johan Karlsson
Johan Karlsson is our Welding Supervisor focusing on improving efficiency in welding. Since our components often consist of many details with similar welds, we can save a lot of time if one operator doesn’t need to weld every single part.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
“My days are usually filled with performing non-destructive testing on many of our parts, giving technical advice to our welders, creating different welding procedures, and working on improvements, for example, the development of our welding robots.”
What do you enjoy most about working at Proplate?
“The best part must be the opportunities for development! Proplate isn’t afraid to invest in new ideas and in the growth of its employees’ skills.”
And when you’re not at work, what do you like to do?
“I spend a lot of time training – both playing soccer and working out at the gym – and I love watching soccer, either on TV or live in Stockholm. I also spend a lot of time hanging out with my friends.”
