New order to Swedish wind farm
Proplate has received an order for delivery of anchor cages to OX2’s wind farm outside Sollefteå, in the north of Sweden.
– Our customer Svevia who is accounting for the construction works, has ordered complete kits of anchor rings and bolts for anchor cages to be assembled on site, says Johan Törnqvist, Sales Manager at Proplate.
The anchor cages are to ensure that Vestas V112 towers at the wind farm Rödstahöjden are stably anchored. As the anchor cage secures the whole tower, it’s also the part of the fundament that has the highest quality requirements. The tolerance on the 4 m wide “template”, as the top ring of the anchor cage is called, is for example only a few millimeters.
Proplate has previously supplied anchor rings and cages to Vestas’ V90, V100, V126 and to General Electric’s GE 1,6-100.
