Proplate venture in England
Proplate is venturing onto the British market with a sales office in Newcastle. There is great worldwide interest in the company’s products, and now the company is strengthening its international presence with a new office in the North East of England.
“This is a large, interesting market, and we see a significant niche here for our products”, said CEO Max Björk.
The newly opened venture will be managed by Ian Hardy, Head of Business Development. Mr. Hardy has extensive experience in the steel industry, a large international network and much experience working with Swedish companies. He will also work in business development, with a focus on international business.
“Ian’s recruitment gives us all the conditions we need for great growth in the next few years”, noted Max Björk.
Mr. Hardy said of Proplate’s establishment in England:
“In England we have been lacking this type of supplier, who can produce complex components with all necessary equipment in-house. We thus see a great potential for Proplate on the British market.”
